About the Database
We're a consulting firm hired to streamline the lookup process for the Violet Hotel's day to day activities. We designed a database that creates relationships between customers, employees, services, bookings, and rooms. This allows the hotel staff to more easily look up past customers and items associated with these customers. It's now much easier to look up which rooms customers stayed at in order to look at damages, lost items, etc. The Violet Hotel previously used a spreadsheet to hold this data which was slow and inefficient when compared with a database. Our database saves time and money by allowing for reduced staffers in comparison.
